It's not you, it's me.

Many years ago, I started a photo project I titled "I'll say it for you", making images of people holding cardboard signs on the streets, displaying messages for all to see. This series is about expression and communication, speaking with images and words, instead of voice. The goal is for the readers of the signs, and viewers of the photographs, to make a connection to something in their own life, in which creates an emotion, sparks an idea, and possibly a change..

It's the thing that needed to be said, so "I'll say it for you"..

"It's not you, it's me", is held by Emily Wehunt.
Emily, thank you for being a part of this project.

Stay tuned for updates on this photo series, including upcoming gallery shows.

Till next time,

Brian James
